Community welcomes and values the participation of parents and volunteers from the community. There are many ways to get involved, requiring various time commitments.

Board of Directors - The Board of Directors is a group of parents who support the school through policy making and fundraising activities. All parents are encouraged to join, and participate in the functioning of their children's school.

Room Parents - Help coordinate various classroom celebrations throughout the year such as Halloween, Valentine's Day and the year-end party. Just bring the fun and the goodies!

Field Trips - Take a trip with your child's class to Sunset Park or The Art Center. You provide a partner's hand and additional adult supervision while sharing this special experience with your child.

Spring and Fall Clean-up Days - Bring the whole family and help organize, clean and paint our school.

Special Projects - Use your handyman or sewing talents to help the teachers with special projects. In the past, parents and friends have helped us build lofts, install the landscape slide on the playground, and sew slipcovers and drapes.

Special Events - There are several Board-sponsored social events throughout the year. Volunteer some of your time to help organize an event.
