In the two years my daughter spent at Community, she changed from a little girl clinging to my leg to a confident learner. Community's teachers know just how to make a child feel comfortable, and how to bring out the best in them.

Children attending morning kindergarten in School District 112 are welcome to attend Community's After Kindergarten Enrichment Program from 11:45 a.m. until as late as 5:30 p.m. Bus transportation between the local elementary schools and our facility can be arranged through the District 112 transportation office. When the local elementary schools are closed for holidays, conferences or teacher in-service days, the After Kindergarten Enrichment Program is extended to a full day, 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Curriculum is play-based and developmentally appropriate. Professional music classes are held weekly. Drama classes at Apple Tree Theatre and art classes at The Art Center are provided in eight-week sessions. Large motor activities are encouraged in our full-sized gym and on our well-equipped, multilevel playground. Nutritious hot lunches and afternoon snacks are prepared on site.

Registration begins in March for the upcoming school year.
