Children attending kindergarten in the School District 112 are welcome to attend Community's Kindergarten Enrichment Program. Beginning the School Year 2012-2013, only the Afternoon Kindergarten Enrichment Program will be available. Bus transportation between the local elementary schools and our facility can be arranged through the District 112 transportation office. When the local elementary schools are closed for holidays, conferences or teacher in-service days, the Kindergarten Enrichment Program is extended to a full day, 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Curriculum is play-based and developmentally appropriate. Professional music classes are held weekly. Art classes at The Art Center are provided in eight-week sessions. Large motor activities are encouraged in our full-sized gym and on our well-equipped, multilevel playground.
Registration begins in March for the upcoming school year.
